You'll find me buried under all the textbooks.

I just registered for four classes in the spring semester, and I'm feeling as though I just signed away my soul or something. This last semester ended up being a lot of work at times, and it was only three classes.

I'm very thankful that my parents are making it possible for me to go to school full time, because I could never handle a class load like this and keep a full-time job. Especially on the time frame I've set for myself: finishing the whole program in 18 months.

I'm not really sure why this class load is all of a sudden freaking me out...this has been my plan all along. I only started to feel this way when I did the actual registration.

At least I NEVER have to take another cataloging class. Ugh.

Hmmm. not sure how I feel about being 28.

They're here!

Abigail Jane and Isabel Grace were born Dec. 9!

I'm not sure which is which in this picture, but I love the expression of the twin on the right. She's going to be the handful, I can tell. "MOTHER! Please leave me alone! Can't you tell I'm BUSY!!"

They're doing really well, and only have NG tubes to help them gain weight, since premies often have trouble remembering to eat, swallow, and breathe all at the same time. Erin and Dan should be able to take them home in about 2 weeks. They're really big, considering how little room was left in there...way to go, Erin, on the calorie load! You did everything in your power to make sure your girls were healthy. You're such a great mommy.

I can't believe I have to wait until February to see them! It's enough to make me want to move to Kansas!!

they fly faster than the really cool phoenix in the battle scene

Forget being the Kings and Queens of Narnia...the Pevensie children are Kings and Queens of the *SIGNIFICANT LOOK*!!!

The looks flew faster than anything else in that movie..

v. cool parts...the phoenix over the battlefield, and the centuar fighting with two swords.

I'll write more about it later, but at the moment I'm exhausted, having only had five hours of sleep in the last 48. BUT!! my last paper of the semester is done!

lavender bulletins

A pick-up truck just drove by the coffeeshop with a CHristmas tree in the back. But is it a Christmas tree, yet? "It is the Christmas season, therefore all trees that are capable of holding decoration are Christmas trees?" If Rhonda was around, we would have had to put a freudian slip in there SOMEWHERE, though it has no context. We specialized in those. I miss Rhonda.

I went to mid-week Eucharist tonight, and failed to pick up the lavender bulletin that would have told me what the proper responses were to the special healing service we had tonight. Instead, I kept my cool, and simply stood there while it was happening, and prayed for my friends. Actually, I prayed for just about everyone I could think of. Not big prayers, just a "Hey, God, look out for this person, please. I really love them, even if I'm not very good at telling them so." kind of prayer. I even prayed for some people I don't like very much right now. (don't worry, it's not you.)

So, if you felt loved at any point on Wednesday, it was me, sending it your way.
I miss y'all yots and yots.
